Toubkal Ifni Lake trek: a challenging loop trek starting from Imlil for the Toubkal tour, crossing the valleys to the south of Toubkal and climbing to its summit at an altitude of 4165 meters.

This Toubkal Ifni Lake trekking program is recommended for hikers in excellent physical condition. The trek includes several passes at over 3500 m and the Toubkal summit at 4167 m, with steep ascents and descents.
The 6-day trek takes you through the valleys and passes of the Western High Atlas. You’ll enjoy splendid views of the Moroccan Atlas mountain range; steep-sided valleys, typical villages clinging to the mountainside.
A 6-day hike from the Imlil Valley to the Imnane Valley, after which we climb the Tizi n’Likemt pass (3550m) before arriving at our camp at the Azib N’likemnt sheepfold. Where we meet the nomads with their herds of goats and sheep. We then follow our path to the Tifnoute and Amsouzart valleys and the famous Ifni lake in the heart of the Toubkal National Park. Toubkal Ifni Lake lies at the bottom of a valley surrounded by the cliffs of the Toubkal chain and Ifni mountain peak.
This is a popular spot for hikers, who take advantage of the warm waters to swim, cool off and admire the scenery on the southern slopes of Toubkal.
Arrival at the summit of Toubkal on the fifth day. From the summit, you can enjoy magnificent views over the surrounding peaks and towards Marrakech and in the direction of Ouarzazate and the anti-Atlas mountains of Siroua.
